VEGAN PRODUCT CERTIFICATION PROGRAM
Astor Mayer; It created the product certification program regarding Vegan Product Certification and has been developing this program and continuing its product certification since 2015.
Astor Mayer VEGAN Product certification is carried out for the following product groups for the VEGAN Trademark. In addition, our company is a member of the PATE organization and carries out studies on animal rights, not using animals in testing studies, and replacing animal products with alternative products.
- Vegan Food (including food, all beverage groups (alcoholic-non-alcoholic) and supplements)
- Vegan Packaging (Packaging materials used for products included in the vegan product certification program, food packaging, wooden packaging, etc.)
- Vegan Textile (Fashion and textile products)
- Vegan Cosmetics (Make-up materials, personal care products, etc.)
- Vegan Household Goods and Cleaning Products (Domestic equipment, home textile products, paper towels, furniture products, carpets, etc.)
Astor Mayer requires the following for VEGAN Product Certification.
General Documentation
• Official documents of the company (activity certificate, tax certificate, registry gazette, etc.)
• Company logo JPG / GIF or PNG document
• Trademark JPG / GIF or PNG document
• Application Document (sent with offer approval)
• Other ISO, IFS, BRC, BIO, HVE certifications
Finished Product Documentation
• Finished product composition Formula / recipe and safety data sheet
• Copy of finished product labeling document JPG / GIF or PNG
• Finished product image JPG / GIF or PNG
• Detail of primary and secondary packaging
Technical Documentation
• Laboratory testing: Regulatory reference Regulation no. Test certificate of the latest internal and external analyzes for each product, including
Important Note: Tests must cover each regulation for the products. (For example; migration, heavy metal, etc. to meet the requirements of the regulation on substances and materials in contact with food.)
• Test report stating that the product does not contain any animal ingredients
Raw Material Documentation
• Raw material details Technical data sheet, certificate of origin and safety data sheet
(+ State the REACH CAS number or registration number, if applicable. Substances subject to mandatory reporting.)
• Certificate that raw materials have not been tested on live animals
• Supplier's Certificates (ISO, IFS, BRC etc.)
SUBCONTRACTING
• Declaration for subcontractors (if it is a finished product produced by a company other than the operator)
VEGAN Product Certification
• ASTOR-MAYER VEGAN® certification is issued for 18 months.
• The certificate must then be renewed at its expiration date.

Step 6 ▪ Renewal upon expiration (Annual surveillance checks may be performed and samples taken for laboratory analysis. Any non-compliance will lead to requests for corrective action and/or sanctions.)
USE OF THE VEGAN LOGO
Once the product certification process is completed, the VEGAN logo will be sent on the product for your use.
