Under the Turkish Food Codex Regulation on Materials and Articles in Contact with Food, a Food Compliance Certificate is issued after the preparation of declarations of conformity and the completion of tests by the customer.

Under the regulation:

• Paper-based materials and articles in contact with food
• Metal-based materials and articles in contact with food
• Glass-based materials and articles in contact with food
• Plastic-based materials and articles in contact with food
• Dyes used in plastic materials and articles in contact with food

Food compliance certification is carried out for these products.

For Food Compliance Certification, the customer must:

• Have established and implemented the ISO 22000 Food Safety Management System
• Possess the business registration certificate under the regulation
• Prepare the declaration of conformity in accordance with Article 7 of the regulation
• Have carried out tests as per the relevant regulation and product standard.
