Air Microbiology Measurement in Clean Rooms
In areas classified as Clean Room, an air sampler measurement device is used to draw a certain volume of air onto a petri dish, which is then evaluated microbiologically.
Air microbiology measurements include sampling for the detection of aerobic mesophilic bacteria and molds/yeasts.
The methods used are listed below:
ISO-14644-1 Classification of Air Cleanliness
VDI 6022 Hygiene in air-conditioning systems
DIN 1946-4 Ventilation and air conditioning - Part 4: Ventilation in buildings and rooms of healthcare
EN 15780:2011 Ventilation for buildings - Ductwork - Cleanliness of ventilation systems
EN 13779 Ventilation for non-residential buildings. Performance requirements for ventilation and room-conditioning systems
